दीपावली पर भाषण in english: First of all my salutations to the respected chief guest and all the big and small people present here, wishing you all a very happy Diwali, as you all must know that why and for what we gathered here on this platform today Is? Because out of all the festivals celebrated in our Hindu religion today, the main festival is the festival of Diwali.

Our India is a country of festivals, different types of festivals are celebrated here every year like Christmas, Holi, Teej, Gangaur, Gud Friday, Dussehra etc. Diwali is one of the most important and important festivals of India which is celebrated every year in Kartik month. Ki Amavasya is celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm all over India. The festival of Deepawali is secondary among all festivals, if this festival is fully understood then Even it will be less for us.

Diwali is a kind of festival of happiness which fills up our sad life. Diwali is one such occasion which everyone is eagerly waiting for. Diwali is a beautiful panorama of light in the dark, which is also called the festival of lamps, it is celebrated with unity in the whole of India. The festival of Diwali can be celebrated by the followers of any religion in India and other countries because it is a festival of sharing happiness for all of us, which our forefathers have been celebrating for centuries and will continue to celebrate in the same way.

There are many festivals in our Hindu religion but the festival of Diwali is a special festival for Hindus. Deepawali is especially celebrated by our Hindu brothers, but in today's time, relatives of other religions also celebrate it with great enthusiasm. Deepawali is mainly an Indian festival, its fame has become so famous that it is celebrated abroad in the same way as it is celebrated in India. Is.

The main purpose of celebrating Diwali is that on this day when Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya, the people of Ayodhya lit ghee lamps and welcomed him in the joy of his arrival. It is said that Lord Shri Ram went to exile for fourteen years along with his brother Lakshmana and wife Sita to obey the orders of his father, Dasharat, where Mother Sita was abducted by Lankapati Ravana, then Lord Rama went to his devotee Hanuman and his wife Sita. He reached Lanka with his army.

Where Lord Shri Ram fought with the evil Ravana and saved Mother Sita from his clutches after killing him, then after 20 days his exile was completed and he returned to Ayodhya on the new moon of Kartik month where the people of Ayodhya welcomed him with lamps. Since then, due to the lighting of the lamps that night, this day was named Deepawali and Diwali which later developed into a festival. Today this festival is celebrated all over India, including the people of Ayodhya, with hymns and firecrackers.

Diwali is not just a festival but the king of festivals as it brings with it many festivals. Diwali is mainly a festival of four to five days. Diwali begins with Dhanteras in which Lord Dhanvantari and Lakshmi Mata are worshipped as it is a festival related to wealth, especially on this day new instruments, gold, silver, utensils etc. are bought. After that comes Kalichaudas which is celebrated after Dhanteras.

Mother Kali, the goddess of immense powers, is worshiped on the day of Kali Chaudas, worshiping this goddess gives us mental power. Because Kali Mata is the goddess of powers, therefore Shakti is worshiped on this day. In these great festivals of Deepawali, the third festival would have been Diwali itself, which comes just two days after Dhanteras. And Lord Shri Ram is worshipped.

According to the Hindu calendar, the second day of Diwali is celebrated as New Year. Different types of dishes are prepared in homes on this day. People wear new clothes and go to meet their neighboring relatives and wish each other a happy new year so that the first day of the new year is auspicious. The last and last festival of Deepawali is of Bhai Dooj which is the festival of brother and sister. On this day sister calls her brother to her house and feeds her by making dishes, sweets etc.

Diwali is also called Krishi Parv because Kharif crops are ripe these days and in that happiness our farmer brothers celebrate the festival of Diwali. This festival is given the most importance in our Hindu religion, Hindu followers worship animals like cow, buffalo, sheep, goat etc. on this day by bathing and garlanding them, as well as some people worship animals on this day. The horns are also painted with color and then henna is applied to them.

Thus Diwali is celebrated in every region of India by the residents there according to their own traditions. With this, I hope that you will celebrate Diwali 2022 with great joy and enthusiasm because it gives us happiness, so we all should celebrate this festival with great pomp with our family. In the end, I once again extend a very Happy Diwali to all the people present here. Now I would like to end my speech. Thank you.
